Itasca, IL — Kicking off July 10: a three-part webinar series for safety professionals tasked with protecting workers in high-heat environments.

During the initial webinar, scheduled for noon Central, the National Safety Council and the American Industrial Hygiene Association will explore the foundations of heat stress, including key risk factors, impacts and the importance of proactive mitigation.

Attendees will also learn about emerging technologies that “support heat stress management” – including AIHA’s free heat stress mobile app, available on iOS and Android platforms.

Parts 2 and 3 of the series are slated for noon central on July 14 and July 29, respectively. They’ll address common barriers to wearable sensors for heat stress prevention and employer cases for these technologies.
