ATA Wishes “Team Arizona” the Best of Luck at the 2024 National Truck Driving Championships

Arizona’s finest professional truck drivers

Phoenix, AZ – August 22, 2024 – The Arizona Trucking Association (ATA) is proud to announce that nine of Arizona’s finest professional truck drivers will represent the state at the 2024 National Truck Driving Championships (NTDC) in Indianapolis, IN, from August 21-24. Known as the “Super Bowl of Safety,” the NTDC showcases the best drivers from across the country, and this year’s Team Arizona is ready to compete and bring home the championship.

Team Arizona includes:

  • David A Zdanek – FedEx Freight (Straight Truck)
  • Chase Peterson – Shamrock Foods Co. (3 Axle)
  • David Coffel – FedEx Express (4 Axle)
  • Nathan Voss – United Parcel Service (UPS) (5 Axle Tractor Trailer)
  • Ina Daly – XPO Logistics, Inc. (Flatbeds)
  • Steven Garner – Shamrock Foods Co. (Tankers)
  • Greg Ryan – Walmart Supply Chain (5 Axle Sleeper)
  • Mike Alpine – ABF Freight System (Tractor Trailer – Twins)
  • Juan Rodriguez Torres – FedEx Ground (Step Van/Package Car)

This talented group is led by two former national champions, Ina Daly and David Coffel, who bring their experience and determination to the competition. The Arizona Trucking Association is confident that the team will perform exceptionally and represent the state with pride.

“We are incredibly proud of these drivers and wish them the best of luck at the NTDC. Their commitment to safety and professionalism is truly inspiring,” said the Arizona Trucking Association.
